Co-Managed Hosting
If you require dedicated support for your Web server, the co-managed service level is your solution. Similar to co-location hosting, you provide the server and we offer fast connectivity. However, in addition, we maintain the server with any required upgrades or repair it in the event of malfunction.
lions.com offers as much, or as little, support as our clients require for their hosted equipment. The following are some of the services we offer:
Operating System and Software Patches and Updates
- To keep your servers performing at their best, lions.com offers on-site support that includes regular maintenance and upgrade services.
- We review the patches and updates from software vendors and operating system developers as they become available. We ensure they are compatible with your servers and thoroughly test them before installation so that your servers continue to run optimally.
- Updates and patches can be provided on an as-needed (billed hourly) or scheduled (contract) basis.
Server Monitoring
- For customers who need access to real-time statistics and graphs, we offer several upgraded reporting packages which can be tailored to your needs.
24-Hour Technical Support
- If you require access to your hosted equipment, or if you require lions.com staff to provide technical support for your equipment, you can get it 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Support by Phone
- We can assist you with any issues concerning your hosted equipment. Access to our Service Desk is by phone, email, or instant messenger during normal support hours (8:30am-4:00pm, Monday to Friday). Access at other times is through our after-hours phone line. Service fees may apply.
Maintenance Requests
- Requests For Maintenance (RFM) and Per Incident Costs (PIC) work can be arranged at anytime. Examples of this work may include installation or replacing of hardware, configuring RAIDs, or installing servers or other equipment including network or security devices.
